Suzuki Violin
ACM is now offering Suzuki violin classes on Saturday mornings at our Lakeview location in the CheckOut!
Developed by renowned music educator Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the Suzuki approach is founded on the belief that all children can learn to play the violin in a supportive and encouraging environment. In Suzuki violin group class, students actively play their instruments together while building strong foundational technique and musicianship.
Classes focus on essential violin skills such as posture, bow hold and control, left-hand technique, tone production, rhythm, and intonation. Students play repertoire from the Suzuki Violin School through guided repetition and ensemble-style activities that reinforce skills learned in private lessons.
Group class helps students develop listening skills, musical awareness, and confidence by learning alongside peers. Playing together prepares students for future orchestra and chamber music experiences while making violin study social, motivating, and fun.
Enrolling your child in Suzuki classes provides a joyful musical community where learning the violin becomes a shared experience.
