A rock ensemble for kids of all abilities between the ages of 7 and 15 at our Lakeview location at 4116 N. Clark St. in Chicago
There’s nothing like the thrill of playing music together. In our Kids Rock Band Ensembles, students join a real band, collaborate with peers, and bring their favorite songs to life — all guided by expert instructors who know how to make rehearsals both fun and musically meaningful.
Students are grouped by age and experience and rehearse weekly, learning how to listen, lock in rhythmically, shape a song, and perform with confidence. Along the way, they build essential musicianship skills — from stage presence and teamwork to improvisation and creative expression.
Our ensembles culminate in live performances, giving students the unforgettable experience of stepping on stage, plugging in, and sharing their music with an audience. Whether your child is picking up their instrument for the first time or already dreaming of the spotlight, band class is where practice becomes purpose.
Best for: guitarists, bassists, drummers, pianists/keyboardists, singers, and other instrumentalists who want to make music with others in a supportive, high-energy environment.
New semester: March 21 to May 9 2026. $400 per semester, $60 for a drop-in.
