Amy Gadd is a Chicago-based lyric coloratura soprano and music educator who teaches ukulele, beginner piano, and voice at the ACM School of Music. With degrees in Music Composition and Vocal Performance from Otterbein University and Roosevelt University, she helps students of all ages discover their “light bulb moments” through creative, joyful, and supportive music lessons. Amy teaches at our Ravenswood location.
Teaching Style
“When I am teaching, I aim to have each student leave saying, “I can’t wait for next week!” Music is fun! We should have fun learning it! I strive to keep homework and practicing at home to also be fun. Also, as a composer I encourage writing, theory, reading and I love to see the light bulb moment in my students.”
